FREE Postal Entry Route

About Postal Free Entry Route

Free entry into a Competition (including Standard Competitions and Instant Win Competitions) is available by postal entry subject to the following terms and conditions:

1. Method of entry

Entries must be submitted by sending a handwritten letter or postcard via pre-paid First or Second Class post to the Promoter at the address specified on the relevant Competition page.

Hand-delivered entries will not be accepted and will not be included in any Competition draw or prize allocation.

2. Entry requirements

Each postal entry must be clearly legible and must include all of the following information:

  • the full name of the Competition being entered;
  • your full legal name;
  • your date of birth;
  • your full postal address;
  • a valid email address and telephone number;
  • your answer to the Competition Question (where applicable).

Entries that are incomplete, inaccurate, unclear, or illegible may be deemed invalid and excluded from the Competition at the Promoter’s sole discretion.

3. Account requirement

All entrants must hold a valid, active account on the Promoter’s Website or App.

The personal details provided in the postal entry must exactly match the details registered on the account. Entries that do not match account information may be rejected as invalid.

4. Entry limits

Multiple free entries may be permitted per person per Competition, subject to any maximum entry limit stated on the relevant Competition page.

Where multiple entries are permitted:

  • each entry must be submitted separately;
  • each entry must be sent in a separate envelope or postcard;
  • multiple entries submitted in a single envelope will be treated as one (1) entry only.

5. Timing of entries

Postal entries must be received by the Promoter:

  • before the published Closing Date of the Competition, and
  • before all available entries or tickets have been fully allocated (sold out, where applicable).

Entries received after the Closing Date will not be entered into the Competition.

Where entries are received after all entries/tickets have been allocated, they will not be included in that Competition.

6. Instant Win Competitions

For Instant Win Competitions, postal entries must be received:

  • before all entries/tickets have been allocated, or
  • where entries remain available, before the Closing Date as stated on the Competition page.

Only valid entries received within these parameters will be included in the Instant Win process.

7. Proof and responsibility

  • Proof of posting is not proof of receipt.
  • The Promoter accepts no responsibility for lost, delayed, or misdirected postal entries.
  • Entrants are solely responsible for ensuring entries are posted in sufficient time to be received before the relevant deadlines.

8. Costs

The cost of postage and submission of postal entries is the sole responsibility of the entrant and will not be reimbursed under any circumstances.

9. General validity

The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entry that:

  • does not comply with these requirements;
  • is suspected to be fraudulent, automated, bulk-generated, or tampered with;
  • is not consistent with the spirit of fair participation in the Competition.

All valid entries (whether paid or free) will be treated equally in accordance with the Competition mechanics set out in the Terms & Conditions.
